Slider does not appear

Description
Firstly, the main demo at http://docs.jquery.com/UI/API/1.7.2/Slider does not appear in IE8, FF/windows or FF/Linux.
Also, creating a page with the example source does not appear as well. The markup in firebug shows that the elements are having jQuery markup added; they just do not actually appear visibly on the page.
Please use the demos on http://jqueryui.com/demos/slider as the reference. Demos on docs.jquery.com are broken and will be removed.
