child events dont trigger after using selectable() on element

Description
is this the intended behavior ?
when using selectable() on the element all events which were delegated be4 dont trigger anymore
if it is, how would it be possible to still trigger the events?

Because we get so many tickets, we often need to return them to the initial reporter for more information. If that person does not reply within 14 days, the ticket will automatically be closed, and that has happened in this case. I'm actually seeing the opposite behavior. Click events are occurring before you even mouse up. Is this only happening in a specific browser?
