I am using jQuery UI tabs in SharePoint 2007 but the SP date/time picker shrinks

Description
I know it may be a conflict with SharePoint 2007 date picker which we are using and the jQuery UI tabs. As soon as I put all the code in tabs the SharePoint date/time picker shrinks or resizes and the you can not view the dates and times when selected. Any guidance is helpful.

Unless you can provide a reduced test case (not using SharePoint), then we have no way of knowing who is causing the bug.
