broken examples of autocomplete on firefox 16.0.1

Description
Loading this page http://jqueryui.com/autocomplete/ works in IE9, latest Chrome, however on firefox 16.0.1 clicking on the different types does nothing, if i manually open the link in a new tab (like http://jqueryui.com/resources/demos/autocomplete/combobox.html) it works on firefox, so there is some problem with the example "switch".
I have firebug and web developer extensions installed and both show no js error.

It's working fine for me and we haven't gotten any reports of this being broken for anyone else.
