DatePicker's Today button gives user no feedback

Description
Ok, I understand that this is probably by design that "Today" button does nothing but shows the current month. Well, it's bad. It often doesn't matter how reasonable arguments programmers have, if it doesn't help people. This time it's about usability. If I click something clickable and see no feedback, it's bad in context of usability. It seems like "not working". So, please do something about it.

It would still be nice to have the functionality to add a own function for the click.
Also the typical behaviour for a today button would also be to set the value to today.
Don't show the button if you don't want/like its functionality.
