Inconsistent packaging

Description
Packaging of files in zip or compress tar appears is inconsistent across versions. This makes a simple upgrade something of a recurring nightmare. For example, with v1.8.18 the layout is "/jquery-ui-1.8.18/{demos,docs,ui,ui/minified}".
But with v1.10.4 the layout is "/jquery-ui-1.10.4/development-bundle/{demos,docs,ui/minified}".
And with v1.11.1 there is mostly nothingness - just "/jquery-ui-1.11.1/{,images}".
Why can't the content of downloads remain more consistent across versions?

We've heavily simplified the layout in 1.11 to make the packages easier to understand and use, addressing various forum and StackOverflow questions related to that. We don't intend to make further changes, so future versions should be consistent with 1.11.
