Adding id attribute to an li element in a Tab tab-section breaks the widget

Description

Adding an id attribute somehow breaks the widget. If, as in the example below, the id attribute is added to both li items, it causes both related divs to be shown at the same time.

Example:

<div class='tab-section'>

<ul>

<li><a href='#credit-card' id='credit-card'>Pay by credit card</a></li>

<li><a href='#check' id='check'>Pay by (online) check</a></li>

</ul>

<div id="credit-card" style='padding:1.0em'>

[snip]

</div>

<div id="check" style='padding:1.0em'>

[snip]

</div>

</div>

Sorry, I meant adding the id attribute to the <a> element inside the <li> element.

However, it turns out that adding an id attribute to the <li> attribute also breaks the widget.
