datepicker position on iPad

Description
the datepicker is displayed at the wrong location on iPads. Much lower than expected.
Could you provide more details / a test case? A vanilla date picker looks just fine on the iPad: http://jsfiddle.net/S6t4U/2/
I tested on mobile Safari on an iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1.
