Description
When I use a horizontal slider after sliding I see a blinking vertical line on the left in the handle. This is also the case for the demo's on the jqueryui site. Only after sliding (so not initial).
This behaviour is absent on IE (9.0.8) and Chrome (11.0.6).

This behaviour is still observed in FF 16.0.1 You have to use the slider to see it. When you start a page it is absent; slide and you can see it. Tried to use the latest version but having problems with jQuery 1.8.2 new version (obj not defined). My base is currently 1.7.2 en UI 1.8.17

I'm not seeing this behavior either, and it doesn't make any sense that you'd see the cursor like that.
