Dialog buttons layout is broken in Chrome newest development version

Description

This is probably a recent bug introduced in Chrome but I thought you might be interested in knowing about that.

Try the modal confirmation example in 21.0.1155.2 dev and you'll see. I'm on Debian unstable here.

It doesn't break the layout if you remove the "float: right" from .ui-dialog-buttonset though...

What do you mean by broken? It works exactly as expected for me in Chrome 21.0.1145.0 dev on OS X.

Yeah, I know, I just noticed this today. I guess it wasn't broken in 1145. Please try on 1155.

I've just sent a report to Chrome using their specific tool. I'll take a snapshot and attach here soon.

How can I add an image as attachment here?

Changed May 30, 2012 02:37PM UTC by scottgonzalez comment:4

You can't, you can only link to an image hosted elsewhere.

Just updated and I see the bug. Please add a link to the Chrome bug.

Have you ever considered replacing this issues' system with something like Redmine or ChiliProject?

I can't send you the link because I didn't report it in the Chromium bug report page, so Chrome hasn't sent me any link... :(

No, we're not going to change bug trackers. Trac support attachements, we don't want them.

Changed May 30, 2012 02:43PM UTC by rosenfeld comment:8

I didn't know if I could report it on Chromium, since my Chromium version is too old and won't present this bug and I can't be sure if it happens on latest development branch of Chromium...

I've gotten confirmation that this is already fixed in Chrome, so there's nothing for us to do.

Chrome unstable has finally released a new version in the apt repository: 21.0.1163.0 dev.

Unfortunately it is still broken :( So I guess the information you got wasn't that reliable...

rosenfeld, can you head to http://download-chromium.appspot.com/ and get an edge build?

Since dev channel is laggy it's hard to say.

Changed June 05, 2012 03:56PM UTC by rosenfeld comment:13

It works correctly on Chromium 21.0.1165.0 (140528). Thanks for pointing me out this URL :)

Great, the unstable channel deb repository has finally upgraded Chrome to "21.0.1171.0 dev" today and this bug is finally fixed here :)
