DatePicker - doesn't reposition in ie8

Description
in IE8 when editing a date at the bottom of the page. DatePicker doesn't reposition itself. Calendar becomes cut off....

jQuery and jQuery UI do not support quirks mode.
#8603 is a duplicate of this ticket.
